"He told me not to lose a dime. That's where all hell started." Listen to the woman talk about the contacts with the 33-year-old and what she lost in the clip above.

In the summer of 2018, the suspected concert scammer posted an ad on Facebook. He sought cleaning help for the villa in the small West Swedish town where he then lived.

A woman in the same area took up the offer.

"We clicked right away. It felt like we had known each other all our lives and we started hanging out privately as friends, she says.

Invested four million

That was all changed by a phone call a few months later. The 33-year-old wanted to get the woman to invest in his event.

"He asked if I wanted to join. He was going to have a house festival in Örebro with the biggest DJs.

She and her husband took out several loans, and were able to contribute a total of two million kronor each. In addition, she got some friends to go in with smaller sums, and her brother to bet "a larger sum".

"I trusted him. He had budgets and contacts with foreign agents.

"He has taken everything from us"

But no festival ever happened. The woman and her husband were left with large debts. She has been forced to sell her condominium and one car. The bailiff took the second car, and measures out the salary every month.

"He's taken everything from us," she says.

Last autumn, the couple finally reported the 33-year-old to the police. He was arrested on suspicion of several counts of aggravated fraud and is now in custody awaiting trial.

However, the woman does not expect to get any money back.

"But I hope he gets a severe punishment.

The 33-year-old denies all criminal charges, and announces through his defence lawyer that he does not believe he has deceived anyone.
