It is he who developed the proposal for a nitrous oxide ban as part of the local ordinance. Previously, they did something similar when they banned loud music in some places in the municipality. This time, the idea is that the ban will apply in public places throughout the municipality.
Changes can take place by the summer
The proposal is on the agenda and is expected to pass at the City Council. Then the County Administrative Board will check that it is legal for Bollnäs to do this, that the ban does not clash with other legislation. According to the municipality, Bollnäs can be the first in the country with a ban on nitrous oxide.
