"Civil society against Ada Colau". After a banner with that slogan 800 demonstrators summoned by the company Desokupa have marched this Thursday through the center of Barcelona in the same route that 400 squatters did on Tuesday although with a totally opposite claim. This Thursday those summoned by Desokupa have clamored against the mayor of Barcelona Ada Colau, of which they asked for the resignation, as well as the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez.

They have also charged against squatting groups shouting 'delinquent squatters', 'currantes yes, squatters no' or 'squatter works, outside my house', along with 'communism out' and numerous cheers in favor of Spain. Many demonstrators wore Desokupa T-shirts that members of the company handed out before the march began. There were also chants against TV3 and against journalists. There were only incidents when eggs and a bottle were thrown from a balcony and the demonstrators reproached the attitude of the neighbors. They also reported it to the Guardia Urbana.

Upon arriving at Plaza España, the protest was called off, although the leader of Desokupa, Dani Esteve, said "this is not a political demonstration. I'm not one to tell you who you have to vote for, but I'll tell you who you don't have to vote for. Colau, go now." He also charged against the squatters by recalling that in Tuesday's march banks were stoned, but considers that they will not have consequences because "the police have orders not to arrest criminals."

With this protest, Desokupa closes its presence in an electoral campaign after the demonstration called the same day of the start of these electoral elections in Barcelona with another concentration against the squatters of the Plaza de la Bonanova and in support of the neighbors who had protested the incidents that the anti-system provoked in the neighborhood. As then a strong police deployment has accompanied this march and, also as that day, has separated the counter-demonstration of a group of squatters in the Raval.

Some 150 anti-system activists called against Desokupa under the slogan "Raval Antifascista. Raval vs VOX" and "They will not pass, Barcelona will be the tomb of fascism". They have tried to go to the Plaza Universitat to protest the other demonstration but cordon of riot police of the Mossos prevented the passage so the squatters threw eggs. The agents encapsulated them to identify them.
