09:57 Arrival

The King and Queen arrive by train at Linköping Central Station. Where County Governor Carl Fredrik Graf and County Commissioner Ann Holmlid will receive.

10:15 Cortege

The King and Queen ride a motorcade by horse and carriage in Linköping. The cortege starts at Scandic City and runs along Storgatan up to Borggården. Audiences are welcome to stand along the sidewalks along Storgatan.

10:25 The Castle

The King and Queen arrive at Linköping Palace.

10:40 Public celebration

Speech by the King and County Governor and a guided tour of the robots Spot and Elsa from Linköping University. Music program with the Home Guard Band, Folkungaskolan's music classes, Joyvoice & Hanna Rydman Choir ensembles and by local pop artist Agnes Matsdotter.

11:30 Tree planting

The King and Queen plant a lime tree in the Palace Garden. Speech about the historical connection of tree planting and music by Linköping's student singers.

12:00 Slottsträdgården

The castle garden is open to the public until 15 pm. Photo exhibition about the king's time on the throne. Children can rake in the pond.

13:30 Viewing helicopter

A helicopter lands in Kungsträdgården. Wing Commander Mats Antonson from the Helicopter Wing talks about the operations and the helicopter to the King and Queen.

13:40 History walk

The King and Queen walk outdoors in the palace gardens and along the way meet guides in period clothes.

14:25 Gripen aircraft

Gripen planes fly over the castle in Linköping.

14:40 Departure

The King and Queen leave Linköping and the visit ends

The police announce that in connection with the visit there will be a high presence in Linköping. Police cavalry and drones are available.

As the King and Queen move, roads will be closed briefly, which will affect car traffic and public transport in central Linköping.

– Our task is to ensure that the event takes place in a safe and secure manner and to succeed in this we have a high presence of police officers throughout the event, says local police area manager Ann-Christine Rehnström.
