The organizer Peter Göransson himself has ridden on his motorcycle through Västervik for several years before he got the permit.
– The first two years, which were during the pandemic, I drove solo. I drove around here in town dressed up and people watched, but last year I got authorization and permission to arrange a ride in Västervik. It is one of five cities in the country: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Lidköping are the others, he says.
In the clip, you get to see the motorcycles and the riders who are dressed "drapper", that is, elegant.
Approaching the goal
On Monday, the ride could be seen in Västervik, but the actual collection will continue until June 5 and Peter Göransson hopes that they will raise $ 2,000, which corresponds to just over SEK 21,000.
"If we land there somewhere, we are also well placed in the country if we look at the total collection," says Peter Göransson.
At the time of writing, Västervik has raised $1,977, which is the best in the country after Gothenburg and Stockholm.
