The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 3 martyrs were killed at dawn on Monday by Israeli occupation forces during their raid into Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the West Bank.

Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of Mohammed Abu Zeitoun (32 years old) by the Israeli occupation forces in Balata camp, before the Red Crescent announced that the death toll had risen to 3.

The camp is witnessing strong clashes after the occupation forces stormed it from several axes to arrest wanted persons, where Palestinian youths confronted them, and eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces pushed security reinforcements.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa said that the occupation forces stormed the camp, accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, and continued to besiege it and prevent ambulances from reaching the camp.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces stormed a number of Palestinian cities and villages on Sunday, punctuated by confrontations with Palestinians.

Al-Jazeera's correspondent in the West Bank reported on Sunday that an Israeli soldier was injured in a vehicular attack targeting a group of Israeli soldiers in the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus.

The correspondent said that the occupation army closed the main street of the town of Huwara and shops to search for the perpetrator of the operation.

The Israeli army spokesman said that a vehicle rushed towards a soldier in the Huwara area, south of Nablus, and ran him over and wounded him lightly, adding that one of the soldiers opened fire on the vehicle, while a force began chasing it after it fled the place.
