Berlin, May 5 -- The Berlin Chinese Cultural Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") cooperated with the Guilu Mountain House Tea Room to hold the first "Tea and the World" activity on the 22st in the "Deyue Garden" Shifang, the Chinese Garden of the World Park in Berlin, Germany. Guo Jinqiu said in his speech that Chinese will use "firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar tea" to describe the plain and simple life of ordinary people, and will also use "Qinqi, calligraphy, painting, poetry and wine tea" to describe the spiritual pursuit of literati and inkers, tea has become an important presentation of the Chinese cultural spirit of "harmonious coexistence between man and nature". Through the ancient tea horse road and the Silk Road, small tea has become an important link between China and the world, and has also promoted economic and trade exchanges and people-to-people exchanges between different regions. She hopes that everyone can taste the oriental aesthetics passed down for thousands of years in the tea fragrance and piano sound, and look forward to the bright future of Sino-German cultural exchanges and cooperation.

Ms. Yu Yali, the tea artist of the Guilu Mountain Room Tea Room, introduced the long and profound tea source and tea relationship of the Chinese nation, respectively from the aspects of tea selection, water selection, tea cooking technology, tea art, environmental selection and other aspects of tea art culture such as oolong tea, white tea, black tea, etc. During the interactive session, Ms. Bucher experienced the bowl brewing method of white tea with great interest. On 2022 November 11, "Traditional Chinese Tea-Making Techniques and Related Customs" was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In order to use tea as a medium to strengthen friendly dialogue among civilizations and promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, in conjunction with international organizations, Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, overseas Chinese cultural centers and overseas tourism offices, held a global "Tea and the World" gathering around the time of May 29, the "International Tea Day".
