Our politicians are an endangered species of intent... of vote, but above all they are people like you and me: with their sorrows, joys and manias. In LOC we want you to know the candidates to your city or autonomous community in a special way. With daring and unique questions that give rise to answers more typical of an afternoon of beer than of I have a question for you. This is the Proust questionnaire with which many of them have dared, except VOX. Although from here we encourage you for the next one.

Reyes Maroto, PSOE

  • Historical figure I admire: Clara Campoamor, was the first woman suffragist in the world to defend from the rostrum of a parliament the right to vote for women.
  • Historical figure I hate: Anyone with intolerant and macho attitudes, unfortunately there are many.
  • A word I hate: More than a word is a play on words: "This has always been done this way." In the Ministry it happened to me when I asked about some programs that were not being effective and that answer gave me more arguments to change and improve them.
  • First and second favorite food of the Spaniards: Difficult but I think that in general, potato omelette and rice like everyone.
  • Spain is... A wonderful place to develop a life project, a country full of opportunities. And as a former Minister of Tourism I will say that it is a place with many corners that deserves to be discovered.
  • Favorite tonadillera: I always liked Rocío Jurado.
  • A smell that I am passionate about: The smell of the countryside in the mornings reminds me of my village, where I grew up.
  • Ortega y Gasset or Amancio Ortega: (He was left without an answer)
  • The last whatsapp group I muted: I'm more about creating groups, the last one to organize my son's birthday with school friends. But answering the question, a few weeks ago I left the Cabinet group in the Ministry of Industry but before I put a last message: "Thank you. You are the best"
  • José Luis Martínez-Almeida, People's Party

  • Historical figure I admire: Churchill or John of Austria.
  • Historical figure I hate: Stalin.
  • A word I hate: Resilience.
  • First and second favorite food of the Spaniards: Skewer of tortilla and ribeye (little done).
  • Spain is... Wonderful.
  • Favorite tonadillera: The Pharaoh.
  • A smell that I am passionate about: The lawn in the morning.
  • Ortega y Gasset or Amancio Ortega? Both and equally. Each one is a great.
  • The last whatsapp group I muted: One in which they send the press references about a certain Almeida, I live much better in ignorance.
  • Rita Maestre, More Madrid

  • Historical figure I admire: Mary Wollstonecraft.
  • Historical figure I hate: Charles IV, a king betrayed his people.
