The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan's Diet Committee Chairmen met over a bill to secure funding for increased defense spending, and agreed to vote on it at the House of Representatives' Committee on Finance and Finance on the 19th and then at the plenary session on the 23rd of next week, and it is expected to pass the bill in the House of Representatives.

In response to the rejection of a motion of no confidence in Finance Minister Suzuki submitted by the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan at a plenary session of the House of Representatives on the 18th regarding a bill that would establish a "Fund for Strengthening Defense Capabilities" to secure financial resources for increasing defense spending, Chairman Takagi of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Chairman of the Diet Committee Azumi of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan met to discuss future responses.

The two leaders agreed to vote on the bill at the Committee on Finance and Finance on the 19th and then at the plenary session on the 23rd of next week, and the bill is expected to pass the House of Representatives.

At the meeting, Mr. Azumi also requested that Prime Minister Kishida attend the Budget Committee on the 19th of next week to hold intensive deliberations on the Budget Committee, based on a series of diplomatic schedules, including the G7 Hiroshima Summit to be held on June 24, and conveyed his intention to accept.

In addition, Mr. Azumi appealed that the Child Abuse Prevention Law should be revised in the current Diet session in response to the issue of a former talent belonging to Johnny's Office complaining of sexual abuse by the former president, and Mr. Takagi conveyed his intention to take it home and consider it.
