The curse of Elvis Presley: his grandson commits suicide, his daughter was ruined and his ex-wife does not find love

"There is agreement, the families are happy, united and excited for the future," said Ronson Shamoun, Priscilla's lawyer in a statement collected by TMZ after leaving the hearing in which he communicated the understanding between the parties to Judge Lynn Scaduto, of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.

This dispute originated just four days after the memorial of Lisa Marie Presley, when her mother's legal team filed a petition in a Los Angeles court with which they questioned the "authenticity and validity" of an amendment made in 2016 on the inheritance of Elvis Presley's daughter.

Through this decision, Priscilla made known her distrust that her daughter had removed her and the person who helps her with business, Barry Siegel, as trustees of the will and replaced them with her grandsons Riley and Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020 when he was only 27 years old.

For this reason, suspicions began to revolve around the validity of his daughter's signature because the amendment was not witnessed or notarized, because this change was not communicated to Lisa Marie Presley in life and because the name Priscilla was misspelled in the document. A series of data that set off all the alarms.

For now, the agreement, of which the details were not disclosed, must be endorsed with a judicial document signed by both parties before June 12 and in another hearing scheduled for August 4. Riley Keough's legal representative, Justin Gold, told CNN on Tuesday that she is "very happy" and that "if not, I would not have agreed" to the pact.
