Ukrainian citizen Yuri Denisov, suspected of involvement in the murder of war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky in St. Petersburg, was put on the international wanted list. The relevant information is posted in the official search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"Yuri Mikhailovich Denisov, born on August 13, 1987. Place of birth — the city of Snezhnoye, Donetsk region, Ukraine. He is wanted under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Denisov's card says in the department's database.

On the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there is no information under which article Denisov is wanted, and his nationality is also not indicated in the database.

Military commander Maxim Fomin (known under the pseudonym Vladlen Tatarsky) was killed in an explosion in the St. Petersburg café "Street Bar" on April 2. The guest of the creative evening with the participation of Tatarsky, Daria Trepova, brought a statuette as a gift to the military correspondent, inside of which there was an explosive. As a result of the explosion, Vladlen Tatarsky died on the spot, more than 40 people were injured.

The explosion was recognized as a terrorist attack, Darya Trepova was detained and placed under arrest until June 2. Now she is being held as a defendant in the case of a terrorist attack (Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). During the interrogation, Trepova admitted that she was carrying out the task of Ukrainian curators. Online, she met a Ukrainian anti-war activist who promised her a move to Kiev and a job in one of the media outlets in exchange for cooperation.

The girl was required, in particular, to gain confidence in the military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. To this end, Trepova attended his meetings with readers, at one of which she met a military commander under an assumed name. At an event in a St. Petersburg bar, she handed him a plaster bust depicting a military commander. There was an explosive device inside. Trepova claims that she did not know about the contents of the "gift" and regrets what she did.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee also reported that the girl was a supporter of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) * Navalny and had previously been prosecuted for participating in the actions of this organization. The organizer of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, the NAC called the Ukrainian special services.

On April 13, the FSB of Russia reported on the involvement in the murder of Vladlen Tatarsky, a citizen of Ukraine, Yuri Denisov - according to the special services, it was he who handed over to Trepova a statuette filled with explosives, intended for a military correspondent.

"It has been established that the murder of M. Fomin, together with D. Trepova, was prepared by a member of the Ukrainian sabotage and terrorist group, a citizen of Ukraine, Yuri Denisov, born in 1987, who, through an express delivery service through an intermediary, transferred an explosive device camouflaged as a plaster bust of a military commander in Moscow," the FSB Public Relations Center (DSP) reported.

According to the FSB, in February 2023, Yuri Denisov arrived in Russia from Kyiv through the territory of Latvia on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, he bought a car in the Russian Federation. He was supposed to monitor the military commander Tatarsky, collect information about his movements and lifestyle.

After the terrorist attack on April 3, Yuri Denisov left Russia, going to Turkey in transit through Armenia.

What is known about Denisov

Involved in the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, which killed military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, Ukrainian citizen Yuri Denisov regularly traveled to Russia in an old Mercedes until 2019 - according to RT estimates, in total he crossed the border 35 times.

In Russia, a 35-year-old man rented a house in the Vladimir region, then in Surgut, then near Samara, and was looking for work mainly at private security companies through Avito.

In Denisov's social networks, there is a photo from the "Maidan" of 2014, and in the last picture from his social networks, he stands with a woman from Kiev, with whom they supposedly have a common child.

In addition, Yuri Denisov liked to be photographed with weapons and published posters with swastikas and symbols of the Azov terrorist organization on social networks**. This, in particular, was told to RT by one of his acquaintances. The source also mentioned that Denisov moved to Mariupol in 2014.

Another interlocutor (originally from Snezhnoye in the DPR, like Denisov) in an interview with RT described Yuri as an "arrogant and conflicted" person.

According to him, the last time Denisov came to Snezhnoye in 2016, met with friends, but did not talk about what he was doing. Before leaving, Yuri Denisov lived with his mother in his old house.
