Feng Shangwei, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, said that Shandong has used concrete measures to support overseas talents to innovate and start businesses in Lu, and set up three special funds: the "Qiaomengyuan" industrial investment fund of 10 billion yuan, the loan guarantee of 1000 million yuan of "Qiaomengyuan" and the risk compensation and patent pledge financing of 1000 million yuan, and introduced government equity investment to support the accelerated development of overseas Chinese enterprises. It has built "Qiaomengyuan International Talent Port" and provided "golden card" services for overseas talents, which has attracted more than 500 overseas high-level talents (teams) to settle in. Relying on Jinan's "Talent Value" evaluation system, the "Overseas Chinese Valuable" brand was launched to empower overseas Chinese enterprises, and the first batch of 7 enterprises obtained a credit line of nearly 5 million yuan.
At the meeting, Li Faxin, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and spokesperson of the press, introduced that the 2023 High-level Talents Enter Shandong Jinan "Overseas Chinese Dream Garden" and the Chinese Business Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation and Exchange Conference (hereinafter referred to as the China Fair) will be held from May 5 to 14.
