On Gotland, the annual conference Cultural Environment Forum is currently underway, where representatives from the country's county administrative boards gather. One of this year's guests is Fedir Androshchuk, director of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in Kiev.

He testifies to the importance of having plans and being well prepared to protect objects and buildings.

Anneli Bergholm Söder is county commissioner at the county administrative board on Gotland but is also national county councillor for cultural environment issues. These are important lessons now being learned from the war.

"We are preparing to be able to remove objects. But we also need to think about whether we need to evacuate Gotland. What do we need to take with us and what are we going to hide," she says.
