Many people are hit hard by this year's high levels of pollen, but there are some things you can do yourself. Those that SVT talked to talk about a runny nose, itchy eyes and, above all, a fatigue that comes from the allergy.

"It's interesting, we usually say the other way around that it's the allergy medication that makes you tired," says district doctor Ulf Österstad.

Unfortunately, he has no tips on how to remedy fatigue.

Extra difficult for asthmatics

One group that can find it extra difficult at high pollen levels are people with asthma. They usually have a plan but can advantageously get extra help from the healthcare system to reduce the inconvenience, says Ulf Österstad.
