According to Myagkov, educational literature occupies an important place in the issue of such education.
"For example, in the new history textbooks for high school students, in the writing of which representatives of the RVIO took an active part, the events of the Great Patriotic War are described in the most detail, on the basis of true facts. Outlining these events, we tried to write a textbook in a good, accessible language, but also tried to use the emotional side of the issue, including talking about the exploits of the Soviet military, about the decisive role of the Red Army in the victory over Nazism," Myagkov said.
At the same time, within the framework of the topic under consideration, he noted the special role assigned to the school "Conversations about the important" today. So, in the course of such events, experts tell children about the events of the Great Patriotic War, about the difficult relationship between the USSR and the allies, about the reasons for the defeats of the Soviet army at the initial stage of the war and about the Victory.
In addition, the expert said that he considers it important to educate the modern young generation in a patriotic spirit, to cultivate in young people and girls the desire to defend their homeland and family. According to him, this can be achieved, among other things, through the holding of specialized youth forums, the development of educational platforms on the Internet, and training students in the ability to resist disinformation.
"At the same time, I am sure that school education, especially with regard to knowledge about the Great Patriotic War, should be transmitted not only through the textbook, but also outside the walls of an educational institution - anyone," Myagkov emphasized.
In his opinion, an excellent example in this regard is the visit of schoolchildren and students to memorials, museum sites, exhibitions. This is also a good form of knowledge of history, the expert said.
"In this regard, I especially want to highlight the Rzhev memorial to the Soviet soldier ... and the upcoming memorial in Gatchina, which will be dedicated to civilians - victims of the Nazi regime.
