According to data from the meteorological department, from 5 o'clock on May 5 to 6 o'clock on May 8, the cumulative rainfall in 6 townships in 76 counties (cities and districts) in Fujian exceeded 749 mm. In Ningde, Fujian Province, a driver of a small car accidentally rolled into the river while turning while driving due to unfamiliar road conditions and slippery roads on rainy days. The driver was trapped in a tree in the middle of the river. The water at the site is turbulent, and the water depth is about 50 meters. Affected by continuous rainfall, the Three Gorges Reservoir Area ushered in the first round of water rise during the flood season.
