In the Instituto Patria and in the Kirchnerist universe the transcended that assumed that Cristina Kirchner has already convinced herself that the PASO are the best vehicle to settle the candidacies of the ruling party did not go down well. So much so, that several Peronist leaders pointed to the powerhouse of Christianity behind the journalistic versions that indicated that the Vice President was already determined to go for a hypothetical third term. Close to the former president, they also denied those versions. Everything is secrecy.

Although it is a paradox, it was the president of the Patria, Oscar Parrilli, ladero of the Vice, who explained that no one would block a PASO and endorsed the names of the pre-candidates who are already installed, but leaders of different extractions of the Peronist arc that are referenced in the Vice President paid that version with statements.

Chaco Governor Jorge Capitanich suggested that if the Vice President is a candidate there will be no PASO in the Frente de Todos. Eduardo Valdes, who this week hosted a CFK dinner with former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, did the same. "It's her time (...) From the foot is rising the cry of 'Cristina'. I don't know what she's thinking, but we feel that it's like that, that it should be like that," the deputy said.

The leaders who speak of a CFK candidacy explain that there was no orchestrated plan to reinstate her. "Cristina is the only person in Peronism that no one is going to face if she runs. We are not in love with the PASO. The guy who grows the most is Javier Milei, who does not have Primaries," they explained.

The theory that competitive PASO such as the one that JxC capitalized on in 2021 should be replicated loses consensus in a divided Peronism.

In the Mesa de Ensenada, a group of Buenos Aires Kirchner leaders do not think of any other horizon than a presidential candidacy of the Vice since they started with the militant plenaries that give body to the "operative clamor". This Tuesday, the same day that the CGT folded in the act for Labor Day to a candidacy of Sergio Massa, they met again. Axel Kicillof, who wants to shield himself in the Province, was also part of the party along with Mario Secco, Andrés Larroque, Martín Sabbatella and the Kirchnerist trade unionism, which hit the fault in the act of "unity" of the labor confederation in Defensores de Belgrano.

"The uncertainty is total and it was noticed in the last 48 hours," explains a leader who bets on the chances of the ambassador to Brazil Daniel Scioli, who claimed his right to compete and this Saturday premiered a new campaign spot with the orange color that identified him in his time as governor and presidential candidate 8 years ago.

In the ruling party there are those who are enthusiastic about a triumphal runoff against the libertarian Javier Milei, whom Cristina and the CGT climbed to the center of the ring, and also those who speak of a scenario of dispersion that would leave them out of the second round, an unprecedented situation for Peronism.

Referents of the Mesa de Ensenada describe a crisis scenario, which does not need to be explained: triple-digit inflation, lack of reserves and alternative candidates that do not take off. However, they are not discouraged. They assume that this scenario of weakness is their main argument for the Vice President to finally accept being a candidate for president or at least for senator, to attract votes in the Province. "To those of us who pushed the clamor operation, the crisis helps us. It is very difficult to get the body out of this situation," they say. The body, of course, is CFK's.

The leaders of Christianity work on the act of May 25 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the assumption of Néstor Kirchner. Until that date there will be no more militant plenaries. The closest collaborators of the Vice President insist that she will not be of the party or in front of a crowd on July 9, as Hugo Yasky proposed, or in a stadium of the Conurbano and rule out a possible visit to the Book Fair, which was under analysis, as Clarín reported.

In this context, Kicillof intends to ensure that there is no other place more convenient for him and for all Peronism than the Buenos Aires governorship. This week he shared an act in that direction with Somos Barrios de Pie and another with the CTA.

There is no better guarantee for the wishes of the Buenos Aires governor than an eventual candidacy of CFK. His ministers joined the same clamor. "The population feels that Cristina has the capacity to face this time," said Government Minister Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez. "Cristina is the person with the greatest electoral wealth," added Security Minister Sergio Berni.

The social organizations that have a voice and vote in Peronism argue that if there is no consensus candidate, it is not possible to go to a PASO scheme that does not have the approval of all sectors. "It is Massa and Axel without PASO, if Sergio resolves the IMF issue soon," they say.

More and more PJ mayors fear a "drag effect," like the one that crowned several PRO candidates in 2015.

Meanwhile, Wado de Pedro – who adds to his campaign album acts and photos with Juan Grabois, Martín Insaurralde, pro-government senators and this week met alone with CFK – pushes with ministers closer to the president, governors and mayors a meeting or photo of the Fernandezes to decompress and show unity. Alberto Fernández, for now, is resisting.

Victoria Tolosa Paz, one of those who asked for the postcard of the ruling leadership, lowered the Vice President from the talks for a candidacy. "Cristina has already said that she is not going to be a candidate and we have to work in that scenario," he said in statements to AM 750.

The uncertainty surrounding Peronism also runs through the PJ Congress on May 16. Several leaders speculate that if there is no agreement, the scenario will be uncontrollable. Others bet on a protocol act and a definition between May 25 and June. Massa waits for the Pejotista document to gather his troops.

Fernandez, meanwhile, will seek to stick this week to the hypothetical triumph of the governor of La Rioja, analyzes whether to pose with the missionary allies on Tuesday and will make stops in the Conurbano, in Berazategui and Escobar. Close to Kicillof they say they have not yet been invited.
