A 52-year-old man of Spanish nationality died this Saturday afternoon in the district of Puente de Vallecas because of an attack with a knife in the side. Shortly before, in another incident, a 37-year-old woman was seriously injured in the head in the district of Tetouan. A second woman has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of this attack, which occurred in a squatted building for years. In the other case, at the moment, there are no detainees.

The crime of Puente de Vallecas, explains a spokeswoman for Emergencias Madrid, has happened on public roads, in a garden area at the height of number 41 of Humanes Street, after six in the afternoon. The Samur has assisted there a 52-year-old man, who was lying on the ground in cardiorespiratory arrest after suffering a stab wound on the left side of the side. The National Police added that he also had other wounds on his neck and face.

The first to come have been members of the Municipal Police and the National Police, who "have plugged the wound and have begun resuscitation maneuvers" until the arrival of the toilets. The Samur has continued with the advanced maneuvers for more than 30 minutes, but it has been impossible to save his life. A municipal psychologist has assisted the victim's relatives at the scene. The National Police is investigating the causes of the attack. A police spokeswoman rules out that the case is related to youth gangs and blames it on a conflict with someone, whom they are trying to identify and locate.

In the other event, which occurred after five in the afternoon, a 37-year-old woman has been seriously injured in substandard housing located at the back of number 17 Jaén Street, in the Tetuán district of the capital. It is a squatted building "where there is a large amount of garbage of all kinds accumulated". The building has a long history of conflicts, fights and fights and last year suffered three consecutive fires, in February, March and September.

According to the same spokeswoman for Emergencias Madrid, the woman has entered "cardiorespiratory arrest apparently as a result of a severe cranioencephalic trauma", that is, a strong blow to the head. The Samur has performed resuscitation maneuvers and "a few minutes" has managed to reverse the stop. The woman has been transferred, "intubated and in very serious condition", to the hospital in La Paz.

The Municipal Police has had the alleged aggressor in the vicinity and has transferred her to a National Police station, which will be in charge of the investigation. The spokeswoman emphasizes that "it has been very complicated to transfer the woman to the ambulance due to the difficulties of the terrain, cumbersome and steep, and the piles of garbage", so it has been necessary to have the help of the City Council Firefighters.
