Australian model Sienna Weir, a finalist for Miss Universe 2022, has died weeks after suffering a tragic riding accident.
The 23-year-old mannequin was riding a horse at the Windsor Polo Grounds in her native Australia on April 2 when the animal fell down. Weir was rushed to Westmead Hospital, where she was admitted on ventilation before dying.

The latest publications on Instagram of the model have been filled with tributes to the young rising star of the parallels that "illuminated all the rooms", according to one of her friends. "Heaven has won over the most beautiful angel today. I will miss everything about you [Sienna], I love you," he added.

Sienna Weir rose to fame in the fashion world by being one of the finalists to represent Australia in the Miss Universe beauty pageant in 2022.
Weir had a double degree in English literature and psychology from the University of Sydney, and had previously told local media that he planned to move to the UK to pursue his career and "spend more time with my sister, niece and nephew and expand my professional and social network."
