The crimes for which the man is convicted include aggravated rape of a child, rape of a child, sexual abuse of a child and a large number of cases of aggravated exploitation of children for sexual posturing. The offences were committed between 2019 and 2022. The contacts between the man and the children have in several cases taken place on Snapchat.
The 21-year-old, who lives outside Gothenburg, is also convicted of several counts of aggravated child pornography offenses as he had a total of over 10,000 child pornography images and nearly 460 films.
The man is now sentenced to twelve years in prison by Västmanland District Court. He will also pay damages to all 15 plaintiffs. The total cost of the damages amounts to over one million SEK.
