It is a text message that has caused panic in the upper echelons of the favorite channel of American conservatives. So much so, according to the New York Times article of May 2, that this message alone explains the departure of Tucker Carlson, Fox News' most watched star, and the signing of an $800 million deal to avoid a very embarrassing defamation lawsuit against the voting machine company Dominion.

Discovered in the court file, this message was sent by the populist star to one of his collaborators. Carlson comments on a video showing three Donald Trump supporters beating a young antifa activist. He expresses his contempt for these men with deep racist overtones: "Three against one is unworthy. That's not how white men have to fight," he wrote.

These few words are enough to confirm Tucker Carlson's adherence to white supremacism, an ideology that all his detractors accused him of spreading every night on Fox to nearly three million viewers since 2016. On April 24, two days after the discovery of this text message, Fox management announced the departure of Tucker Carlson with immediate effect.
