According to the agency, the saboteurs also planned to commit another terrorist attack against one of the high-ranking police officers during the May holidays.
On April 27, as a result of a terrorist attack, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Melitopol and the Melitopol district died from his injuries. Another police officer was also injured.
As it became known earlier, the explosion occurred at about 05:15 Moscow time at the entrance of an apartment building.
