Due to the late spring, the municipality has not got the lawn at Finnvedsvallen in playable condition. Therefore, the team's two opening home games against Mjällby and AIK have been played at the reserve arena Borås Arena.

IFK Värnamo has lost a lot of money on the two match moves, but now the pitch has been approved for play.

"It's a stone that drops from my heart. It's really nice. It's our lifeline to have our home games at home. Both sporting and financial, this is very important to us, says Kaj Larsson, event manager at IFK Värnamo to Värnamo News.
