The County Administrative Board has decided that landowners in Mellbystrand and Skummeslövsstrand must set road barriers for the slopes to the beach. The car park on the beach is, according to the decision, an environmentally hazardous activity.
Arranging a demonstration
The association Strand för alla has signed one of the many appeals against the decision, which will be considered by the Land and Environment Court.
On May Day, the association organizes a demonstration on the beach. Among other things, several political parties in Laholm municipality have announced that they will participate in the manifestation against the County Administrative Board decision.
