Hear her tell you more in the clip above.

Children in line

There is a shortage of family homes around Sweden. In Norrköping municipality, for example, there are currently 311 children and young people placed in foster care, but at the same time 20 children are in the queue for foster care and five children are in need of emergency homes.

"It's about children who, for various reasons, need a new home. It may be due to illness, substance abuse or other personal problems of the parents, but it can also be the child's behaviour or needs that make it necessary for a family home, says Ingela Klint, Head of Unit at the Family Home Unit.
