Mission: Localization of key equipment on the nuclear island

Because it can replace coal on a large scale and provide stable and reliable clean energy for the power system, thereby improving the energy structure and responding to climate change, nuclear power has always been a "pearl" in the energy industry that has attracted much attention. And in nuclear power plants, the nuclear main pump is called the "heart" device. In the past 40 years of nuclear power development, China has continuously carried out localization, but due to the high safety level and technical difficulty of the nuclear main pump, it has become the only key equipment in the main equipment of the nuclear island that has not been domesticated. The development of nuclear main pump technology and products with independent intellectual property rights has become one of the national development strategies.

In February 2007, after strict assessment, the National Development and Reform Commission identified SBW Group as the main research and formulation point enterprise of nuclear main pump, and was jointly responsible for the technical introduction, digestion and absorption of nuclear main pump and the research and development of main pump localization with Harbin Power Station Equipment Group Company.

The nuclear main pump of SBW Group independently developed and started from the introduction, digestion and absorption of AP1000 (passive pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology), which is the third-generation nuclear power technology introduced by the United States in China. Starting from 2008, after 10 years of introduction, digestion and absorption, SBW Group completed the design, manufacture and assembly test of AP2018 shielded main pump in 1000, marking the completion of the digestion and absorption task of AP1000 shielded main pump in China. Shengu Group became the second enterprise after EMD in the United States to be able to design, process and manufacture third-generation nuclear power technology shielded main pumps by itself.

In May 2009, SBW Group started the pre-research of CAP5 (also known as "Guohe No. 1400") shielded main pump, which is the main pump for large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants independently developed by China. In March 2011, the main parameters were determined; In November 3, the breakthrough of hydraulic model was completed; In January 2012, the design of shielded main pump was completed; In October 11, the prototype manufacturing was completed; In November 2013, the prototype of the main pump successfully completed the engineering and durability test, and the research and development of the shielded main pump of "Guohe No. 1" was successful.

Breakthrough: More than 100 core technologies have realized the independent and controllable nuclear main pump

The appraisal opinion is: advanced design concept, reasonable structure, appropriate material selection, excellent manufacturing technology, independent intellectual property rights, the largest shielded motor main pump of the same kind in the world, the main technical indicators have reached the international advanced level, and can be used in the "Guohe No. 1400" demonstration project and subsequent nuclear power projects.

"Guohe No. 16" is one of China's <> major science and technology projects, is the most advanced third-generation passive nuclear power technology that has achieved independent and controllable large-scale construction in China, and is the latest achievement of China's nuclear power technology research and development and industrial innovation.
