• Events arrested on the Costa del Sol to 'Piolin', a dangerous narco from Ceuta
  • Events Drug War in El Príncipe: the struggle between the 'Piolin' and the 'Tayenas' ends with the death "by mistake" of a soldier

The judge has ordered the entry into prison of the most wanted criminal, I. M., known as Piolin, following the events that occurred in 2022 with different episodes of violence in the neighborhood of the Prince. After spending three days in the dungeons of the police station of Estepona (Malaga) and after a police deployment for his transfer to Ceuta, the head of the Court of Instruction No. 5 of the autonomous city has ordered the imprisonment of this alleged drug trafficker after being arrested by the National Police last Friday.

The transfer has taken place under a large security device organized by the Superior Police Headquarters from the port of Ceuta, where he has disembarked from Malaga. Police sources consulted by EL MUNDO report that the Court of Estepona ordered the extension of the detention of the alleged offender before being transferred to the autonomous city to be made available to the judge.

Piolín is listed as the alleged leader of one of the gangs that clashed in the suburbs of Ceuta after the murder of 16-year-old Ibrahim Bufelham in April last year. Tayena, another of the ringleaders, was shot dead last week by one of the alleged men he trusted, who was arrested by the Civil Guard hours later. One of the dangerous criminal gangs operating in the autonomous city is thus decapitated.

The city of Ceuta was on tenterhooks after it was discovered that this dangerous criminal had fled the city and was missing.

According to sources of the investigation, the judge sends Piolín to prison communicated and without bail. He is accused of several crimes of injury, illegal possession of weapons and criminal organization.

At the head of the operation was the superior chief of the National Police in Ceuta, Javier Nogueroles. The investigation has been carried out by the Drug and Organized Crime Unit (UDYCO) of Ceuta and the Special Response Group for Organized Crime (GRECO) of agents assigned to the National Police of Malaga, who located and captured Piolín on the Costa del Sol last Friday. In what is known as Operation Lead, special units of the National Police (GOES) were deployed to support the investigation groups.

Ceuta police had been working hard to locate the suspect and bring him before the judge before he could do any more damage. This morning the charges have been read to him, which record that he was involved in the shooting that occurred in a cafe in the neighborhood of El Príncipe, among other incidents.
