On Friday, the unions of the CGT Energy announced "100 days of action and anger", including on May 3, demanding that the pension reform not be applied and denouncing the "anti-democratic methods" of the government. The "Grevilla" will also continue with "energy disturbances" during the executive's travels.

The unions of the CGT Energy announced Friday "100 days of actions and anger", including May 3, demanding that the pension reform not be applied and denouncing the "anti-democratic methods" of the government. "Macron promised 100 days to appease, we promise him 100 days of action and anger! The time is far from being for resignation," said in a statement the unions of the National Federation of Mines Energy (FNME) CGT, at the end of a "general council" held Friday.

Energy disruptions for the executive

"Our debates highlight offensive, firm and unanimous positions", which will be expressed in particular during the days of interprofessional mobilization (April 28, May 1). The FNME, which promises to be "imaginative", also announces "a national day of anger in energy on May 3". The "grévilla", in the words of the organization, will also continue with "energy disturbances" during the movements of the executive.

"In May, do as you please! The Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Roland-Garros tournament, the Avignon Festival could find themselves in the dark! We will not give up!" they add. Even beyond the retirement issue, "all sectoral negotiations, whatever the subject, will be put under surveillance of striking employees", they warn, in order to "win on all our demands and much more than just the withdrawal of the pension reform". Among these actions, the CGT claimed Thursday two power cuts at Montpellier airport and in a college of the Hérault, on the occasion of a trip of Emmanuel Macron.
