Hong Kong, April 4 (ZXS) -- Seven creative activities related to lifestyle and licensing organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 19, bringing together more than 19,4100 exhibitors and more than 200 buyer groups from around the world.

It is understood that this year, for the first time, the HKTDC will hold seven simultaneous events at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, including the Hong Kong International Licensing Fair and Asian Licensing Industry Conference held from 4 to 19 April, and the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Hong Kong Fashion & Home Products Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles Fair, Hong Kong Fashion Fair and Hong Kong International Printing and Packaging Fair from 21 to 4 April.

Ms Cheung Suk-fan, Deputy Managing Director of the HKTDC, said that the choice to bring together a number of large-scale events in April was to provide a new platform to bring more non-role-based brands and licensing projects, which she believes will bring greater synergies to the industry and open up more cross-industry and cross-sector business opportunities. About 4% of the non-Hong Kong exhibitors participated in the exhibition, and a number of mainland provinces and cities participated in the exhibition.

The reporter visited the scene and found that in the gift and premium exhibition area, a new "cultural and creative experience area" was set up this year, focusing on displaying designer brands and products with cultural creativity and unique style; There is also a special exhibition area to focus on traditional Chinese products, including bamboo and wood carving crafts, ceramic crafts, paper-cutting book lamps, etc. Li Yi, an exhibitor at the ceramic crafts booth, said in an interview that this is his first time to participate in Hong Kong after the epidemic, and he hopes to bring creative ceramic exhibits to let more people feel the unique charm of Chinese ceramic culture.

At the Hong Kong Fashion & Home Products Fair, the head of the Hong Kong Industrial Designers Association (IDSHK) said that this was their first time exhibiting, bringing 12 exhibitors and showcasing a number of combined product lines from the "Brand and Designer Matching Scheme" (ReMIX), covering lifestyle, accessories, electronics, furniture, etc., which combine creativity and brand essence, hoping to let international buyers appreciate the creative power of Hong Kong.
