Just as the public follows Ramadan series every year with passion, there is also a critical eye that retreats and may lurk for the mistakes of dramas, whether to use them as material for humor on social media platforms or for artistic analysis and constructive criticism, and these are the most important mistakes that have been monitored so far in this year's Ramadan season.

Medical errors

Medical errors are on the throne of controversial or ridiculous errors by the public, especially as they reflect the ease of those in charge of the drama, there is nothing easier than investigating accuracy and asking specialists.

The most strange medical errors came in the Saudi series "London Batch", where one of the heroines of the series accidentally carried a fetus after conducting what she thought was a "colonoscopy" before it became clear that the doctor confused her papers with another patient, which led to her undergoing artificial insemination, as if the two procedures were done in the same way.

The second mistake from the series "Battalion 101", during one of the scenes, the star Amr Youssef – who plays the character of Major Nour – appeared in the intensive care room – next to him inappropriate medications for his condition. These include Coloferine, which is used to treat the colon, Antodene to treat acidity and stomach ulcers, and Prontogist, which are vaginal suppositories to stabilize pregnancy.

The third mistake, which angered doctors strongly, was because of the series "The Box", which began airing in the second half of Ramadan, where the heroes of the work went to a psychiatrist who was responsible for treating a imprisoned patient, to ask about him.

He only told them the details of his case in contradiction with the honor of the profession, the rules of confidentiality and the rights of the patient, especially since they are not from the police and do not carry a judicial order forcing him to disclose these secrets and even from the patient's relatives.

Minor but unacceptable technical errors

The series "Rashid" by the artist Mohamed Mamdouh, which was shown in the first half of Ramadan, witnessed a technical error in the first episode, specifically in the part that reviews events that took place in 2009, as one of the food products appeared behind the hero, although it was not produced until 2022.

The next mistake from the series "Al-Ajhar", during the second episode, appeared next to both Nour Al-Nabawi and Nahed Al-Sibai military wearing army uniforms, and with the change of angle of filming soon appeared military uniform police.

As for Rojina, the heroine of the series "Sitham", who plays the role of a widow who suffers from hardship, she soon disguises herself as a man and works hard jobs, the audience reproached her appearance with bright white teeth in what is known as "Hollywood Smile", which is not in line with the merits of the role altogether, and she or the director had to pay attention to those things that discredited the plot.

Looking at the series "Al-Maddah 3", which stars Hamada Hilal for the third year in a row, and despite all the success achieved by the work and its high viewership, and most importantly the success of its makers in maintaining the level of work throughout those years, it was not spared criticism. The audience pointed to the weakness of the graphics used in some scenes, such as the scene of the jinn entering the delivery room in the first episode, or the praise of the jinn outside the cave for the first time.

Historical errors due to ignorance or fraud?

One of the most common types of series that can become subject to review and evaluation is historical series, as they revolve around events that are easy to investigate, which requires their makers to investigate more accuracy, yet the drama with a historical part within the Ramadan season was full of errors.

The first of these is with the Syrian series "Al-Zend: The Orontes Wolf", which takes place at the end of the 19th century coinciding with the Ottoman Empire, yet a solar panel appeared on top of one of the houses, which viewers considered a serious mistake.

The second is the series "Sirra Al-Bata" directed by Khaled Youssef with his first television experience, where he made many mistakes to the extent that it is difficult to consider it a coincidence, but rather a clear lack of professionalism.

From the age and height of the star Ayman Al-Shiwi, who plays the character of Napoleon Bonaparte, who was known for his shortness and young age when launching his campaign against Egypt, through the clothes of the Mamluk soldiers, one of the soldiers even appeared in battle wearing sneakers from a famous contemporary brand.

In addition to historical errors related to life in Egypt at the time, the first of which was the appearance of the minaret of the "Mosque of Muhammad Ali" in the background of the propaganda poster, although the campaign was launched between 1798 and 1801 and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali was built between 1830 and 1848.

Another mistake is that the clothes did not keep pace with the era of the French campaign, such as handkerchiefs and patterned shirts that the Egyptians did not wear before the thirties of the last century, or cotton clothes that the Egyptians did not know until the twenties of the 19th century.

This is in addition to the appearance of a long wooden table similar to a dining table, which did not exist at the time, and the appearance of a horse-drawn cart with a commoner on board, although the first to enter that cart was Napoleon and then Muhammad Ali.

Finally, the series "The Imam's Message", which reviews the last years of Imam Shafi'i's life, was full of historical errors, as the Syrian poet "Hudhaifa Al-Araji" came out to accuse the makers of quoting verses from poems written by him, published 10 years ago on social media platforms, and attributed to Imam Shafi'i.

Which confirmed that it is an honor for him, saying: "The imam is more deserving of them than me, and it is greater than every saying attributed to him," but at the same time described the act as fraud, explaining that "if it indicates something, the ignorance of the makers of the work of this great imam and his poetic language," as he put it. Before authorizing legal action against the makers of the series and filing a compensation case before the Economic Court in Egypt.

Another mistake was detected, following the controversy of Al-Shafi'i and Al-Ma'mun about the Holy Qur'an and linking it to Baghdad in 198 AH, although Al-Ma'mun did not enter Baghdad until 204 AH, the same year in which Al-Shafi'i died, and he did not adopt the theory of the creation of the Qur'an until 212 AH and did not speak out his official opinion until 214.
