On Sunday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense published photos of the national aircraft carrier "TCG Anadolu", which is the largest in Turkey.
According to Anadolu Agency, the release of the photos came a day before the new aircraft carrier was handed over to the command of the naval forces in a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the ministry's Twitter account.
"TCG Anadolu is ready, and our navy is ready," the ministry said.
Some images showed the presence of the armed march "Bayraktar TB3" and the "Qizalma" attack march, and helicopters aboard the aircraft carrier.
The Turkish president announced on Friday that the government intends to operate the national aircraft carrier "TCG Anadolu" on Monday, and deliver it to the country's armed forces.
The Turkish aircraft carrier can carry 10 helicopters on its deck.
