The risk of forest fire will be 'extreme' in 30 Asturian municipalities this Sunday, according to the forecasts of the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Territorial Cohesion prepared based on information from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The risk will be 'high' in another 41 and 'high' in the remaining seven.

The councils with the highest risk of suffering a forest fire will be Aller, Amieva, Belmonte de Miranda, Cabrales, Cabranes, Cangas del Narcea, Cangas de Onís, Caravia, Caso, Colunga, Degaña, Grado, Ibias, Laviana, Lena, Mieres, Onís, Parres, Peñamellera Alta, Piloña, Ponga, Proaza, Quirós, Santo Adriano, Sobrescobio, Somiedo, Teverga, Tineo, Villaviciosa and Yernes y Tameza.

The westernmost councils, Castropol, San Martín de Oscos, Santa Eulalia de Oscos, San Tirso de Abres, Taramundi, Vegadeo and Villanueva de Oscos, present a 'high' risk of fire.
