This Sunday, the French celebrate Easter, a holiday that appeals to both children and adults. For the occasion, the Secours populaire organized an egg hunt in a park in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. 5,000 people were expected and the funds raised will help the Ukrainians.

Easter, an eminently gastronomic festival for everyone and especially for children. Europe 1 attended this Sunday morning an egg hunt in a park in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, at the initiative of the Secours populaire. And obviously, it was better not to arrive late.

Puzzles, football or mimes, children rush to the many stands offered and the rules of the game are simple. "When we have won three eggs, we will eat chocolates," says a girl at the microphone of Europe 1. An egg hunt a little special and especially solidarity, which makes the happiness of adults and children. "I came to have fun and enjoy the good weather too. I think it's great to think about the puzzles. It's great," said another boy interviewed. "This is the second year I've come and the kids are delighted, so am I. It's a good deed and I think it's good to awaken children to this kind of action," admit adults present during the hunt.

Presenting the actions of the association and transmitting values is also the objective of this day. "It was an opportunity to show all the actions through this celebration and to enlist our children a little to also become actors of solidarity. To pass on values to them and then become committed young people," said Abdelsem Ghazi, secretary general of Secours populaire de Paris. 5,000 people are expected this Sunday in Paris. The funds raised will be used to help Ukrainians.
