From Mattias Broman's tap in the cottage in Borgafjäll, a small trickle of water now flows – but only occasionally.

"I was lucky and got a hint that it was like this on the way here. So I bought all the cans at the gas station. But now there are no cans to get hold of anymore.

Some have gone home

Some Easter celebrants have given up on the mountain resort this time and gone home, says Mattias Broman.

The temporary solution for him has been to take the family to another part of Borgafjäll to fill the cans of acquaintances. Then they also do other pressing errands.

"Then you almost get company skills.

Asked to examine valves

Mattiass Broman is critical of Dorotea's failure to repair the leak that has been known since the Christmas holidays. But the municipality's technical director does not believe the leak is the main reason.

"We've been troubleshooting and tweaking for the past 14 days. But we don't see any leakage. So it is most likely that some cottage owners' stop and bilge valves are wrong," says Technology and Service Manager Pierre Danielsson.

Dorotea municipality has now issued an appeal to cottage owners to examine their valves.
