As Krupnik explained, recently the tourist market in Russia "has undergone significant changes."

"In the current circumstances, the importance of domestic tourism is only growing. Russia has the richest resources and opportunities in terms of tourism: seaside beaches, mountain regions, historical sites, natural monuments and reserves, as well as much more for every taste and preference are at the service of travelers," he stressed.

The interlocutor of RT added that the domestic tourist has a chance to compensate for the "closure" of Europe and other destinations without losses.

At the same time, according to the deputy, many citizens "literally do not know" about the cultural, natural and resort diversity of Russia.

"In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the idea of introducing a federal program to inform the population in terms of opportunities for recreation and travel: the creation of a single information portal, the development of outdoor and banner advertising, specialized programs and commercials on television, radio and the Internet," the text of the appeal says.

Such a measure, as Krupnik predicts, will favorably affect the domestic tourism industry, attract new resources and investments, and also provide compatriots with high-quality and affordable recreation all year round.

Earlier, Krupnik proposed to monitor the advertising of "simplified" obtaining certificates on the Internet "in order to eradicate it or introduce specialized notes on the illegality of such activities."
