Beijing, April 4 (Zhongxin Net) -- The International Symposium on "The 4th Anniversary of Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind and the Creation of a New Form of Human Civilization" was held in Beijing on 10 April.

The seminar was hosted by the China Public Diplomacy Association and Chinese Minmin University, and jointly organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (Chongyang) of Chinese Minmin University, the Institute of Chinese Modernization and New Forms of Civilization of Chinese University, and the Xi Jinping Institute of Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of Chinese Minmin University.

Zhang Donggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chinese Minmin University, made an opening speech. He pointed out that the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind not only has distinctive Chinese characteristics, but also contains the common values of all mankind, embodies China's deep concern for the future and destiny of mankind in the new era, deeply grasps the trend of the times, witnesses the responsibility and deeds of the Chinese communists in "seeking progress for mankind and seeking common cause for the world", and provides Chinese wisdom, Chinese solutions and Chinese strength for all mankind to cope with unprecedented changes in the world, times and history.

Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Hua Chunying then delivered a speech. She said that building a community with a shared future for mankind means that all countries should work together to develop and prosper together; That is, all countries should respect each other and common security; That is, all countries should learn from each other among civilizations and share beauty and harmony; It means that all countries should unite and cooperate to meet the challenges together.

The speech session was presided over by Wu Hailong, President of the China Public Diplomacy Association. He said that in the past 10 years, building a community with a shared future for mankind has transformed from ideas to actions and from vision to reality, gathered a broad consensus of solidarity and cooperation in the international community, gathered a strong joint force to cope with challenges, opened up a bright prospect for building a better world, and become a clear banner leading the trend of the times and the direction of human progress. "To this end, we invite experts and scholars from many countries to jointly provide suggestions on the practical development of a community with a shared future for mankind."

Danilo Turk, former President of Slovenia and President of the Alliance of World Leaders, delivered a special speech. He said that a community with a shared future for mankind is a very complete concept, which not only involves all aspects, but also involves three very important initiatives - the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative. These three different initiatives further deepen the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind.

In the keynote speech "10 years of building a community with a shared future for mankind", Yue Yanghua, director of the Center for Contemporary World Studies of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee, shared the connotation and practical value of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
