With "Coconut Head Generation", Franco-Congolese director Alain Kassanda won, on April 2, the Grand Prix of the prestigious Cinéma du réel festival at the Centre Pompidou-Paris. His documentary tells the story of how a film club at the Nigerian University of Ibadan turns into a gathering place fueling student revolt in the streets.
