Oscar Tryggvesson was born and raised in Örkelljunga where the church played a big role in his life, however, his friend Nils Dahlvig found faith later in life and felt a call to move to the town.

For them, the Christian faith means everything and their missionary work is portrayed in the new documentary "Jesus in Örkelljunga" by Gustav Hugosson and Andreas H Nilsson.

"It's unusual in Sweden today to talk about Jesus in such an open way and it can probably provoke very different reactions," says Nils Dahlvig.

Documentary about younger Free Church figures

Documentary filmmakers Gustav Hugosson and Andreas H Nilsson wanted to portray younger Free Church people and got tips about their friends in Örkelljunga.

"We live a life that perhaps not so many people do," says Oscar Tryggvesson.

The filmmakers also wanted to make a documentary about the Christian faith from a positive point of view.

– I hope that people see Nils and Oscar and can understand them and that the documentary can broaden and deepen the image of being a believer, says Andreas H Nilsson.

Broadcast on SVT Play and SVT2

How does it feel now that everyone will be able to see this documentary?

"It's over!," laughs Nils Dalhvig.

Oscar Tryggvesson agrees:

"It feels good, exciting and exciting to see how people should react.

On Sunday, April 2, the documentary "Jesus in Örkelljunga" can be seen on SVT Play and on SVT2 on Thursday, April 6 at 20:00.
