A 34-year-old man was arrested early this morning after allegedly killing another 54-year-old man with several stab wounds to the face and abdomen after both started a fight inside their home in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas.
Police sources have reported that investigators are trying to determine if there was a romantic relationship between the victim and the detainee because, if they did, it would be a case of domestic violence.
The crime occurred around seven in the morning at number 29 Salvador Martínez Lozano Street, in the district of Puente de Vallecas.
The two men would have engaged in a strong argument, as several neighbors of the building have assured the police, which has ended the life of one of them, the 54-year-old man, for at least one stab wound in the face and two in the abdomen, sources of Emergencies Community of Madrid 112 have told EFE.
Health workers from the Medical Emergency Service of Madrid (Summa 112) have confirmed the death of the man, while agents of the Scientific and Homicide Police of the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid are in the place to clarify the facts.
