"In 2023-2025, 10 Russian regions will receive subsidies for the implementation of projects related to the integrated development of urban electric transport, as well as lighting and improvement of adjacent territories," the statement said.

It is specified that the money on the terms of co-financing will be transferred to the Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk and Perm territories. Also, subsidies will go to the Volgograd, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Saratov and Yaroslavl regions.

It is assumed that the funds will allow the reconstruction of 620 km of tram tracks and the arrangement of the adjacent territories, as well as be spent on the purchase of almost 650 trams, more than 280 electric buses and over 120 charging stations.
