Once inside the car, they placed the plaintiff between them in the back seat where they then punched him in the face, set fire to his beard, took his phones and uttered threats to the effect that he would be shot or the like.
After the drive, the man was taken to an apartment where the beatings continued by spitting, kicking and punching him, pouring beer over him and forcing his clothes off.
Sentenced to several years in prison
Two of the men are convicted of kidnapping and receive five years and four years and six months in prison, respectively. The third man is convicted of aiding and abetting kidnapping and faces three years and six months in prison.
In addition to this, the men are also guilty of several crimes in connection with the incident such as attempted aggravated extortion, drunken driving and minor drug offenses.
