• Justice A majority of the CGPJ believes that the resignation of Concepción Sáez will not drag other resignations

The president of the General Council of the Judiciary, Rafael Mozo, has just accepted the resignation of the member appointed at the proposal of the United Left, Concepción Sáez.

According to legal sources reported to EL MUNDO, Mozo has communicated this Friday to the directors that he accepts the resignation. Sáez said that he was leaving the governing body of the judges considering that the situation was "unsustainable" since the Council has been with the expired mandate since December 2018. He also assured that his departure occurred to avoid further institutional degradation.
