"Of course, we heard the statement of Alexander Grigoryevich, of course, two presidents, I mean, Putin and Lukashenka, will continue next week (communication. — RT). Namely, next week there will be a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State – this will give the presidents the opportunity to once again have a detailed conversation with each other. For sure, they will discuss this topic," Peskov said, commenting on Lukashenka's proposal to declare a truce in Ukraine.

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, during his speech with a message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, proposed to declare a truce in Ukraine without the right to move troops and weapons on both sides. In his opinion, during the truce there should be no right to transfer weapons, ammunition, manpower and equipment.
