Earlier, the Central Bank of the UAE announced the decision to revoke the license to work in the country from MTS Bank.
It is noted that the Central Bank of the UAE decided to curtail the activities of MTS Bank in Abu Dhabi within six months from the date of the decision and close the branch.
This decision was made after the available options regarding the new status of MTS Bank were studied and the sanctions risks were taken into account.
At the same time, during the liquidation, the bank's branch will not have the right to open new accounts and conduct transactions. The exception will be the fulfillment of previously assumed obligations.
