Increase in losses at the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Lieutenant Colonel of the People's Militia of the LPR in retirement Andrei Marochko said, citing his own sources, that due to the deterioration of weather conditions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine faced a sharp increase in the number of irretrievable losses.

"Rasputitsa, heavy snowfall with rain almost paralyzed special vehicles for the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian militants. In this regard, even wounds of moderate severity for most servicemen turn into a fatal outcome, "he wrote in Telegram.

In addition, according to Marochko, the Ukrainian government intends to financially interest the military to restrain Artemovsk. We are talking about amounts equivalent to three monthly salaries.

In addition, the former lieutenant colonel of the LPR NM said that it is planned to develop additional bonuses for military personnel for holding positions and destroyed equipment, however, according to Marochko, this money is planned to be issued by certificates.

Situation in Artemovsk

Meanwhile, according to RT for March 30, the total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Artemovsk increased to almost 500 people per day.

According to available information, the largest losses in this direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recorded in the units of the 53rd, 67th and 92nd Mechanized Brigades, the 3rd and 57th Battalions of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade, the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, the 5th Assault and 61st Infantry Brigades, the 112th, 113th, 116th, 119th and 127th Territorial Defense Brigades.

In addition, since the beginning of March, from 24 to 20 Ukrainian soldiers have been surrendered in the Artyomovsk direction every 60 hours. Taking into account the killed, wounded, captured and missing, the total irretrievable losses of Ukrainian troops in this area in March amounted to 450-480 people per day.

A sharp increase in the losses of the Ukrainian army in March can be directly related to the mass death of regular Ukrainian soldiers in November - December 2022 and the subsequent mass arrival at the front of mobilized and reservists without combat experience, with minimal combat training.

It is noted that most of the men sent by the Ukrainian command to Artemivsk under the age of 50 have never served in the army, do not have combat experience and desert from positions within 36-72 hours after arriving at the first and second lines of defense.

In addition, due to the weather, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were faced with the inability to use most of the country roads around Artemovsk for evacuation and supply. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to move on civilian transport on asphalt roads under the fire control of Russian artillery.
