It is noted that the retailer sent an appeal to the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with a request to stop listing in the official FCA list of global depositary receipts (GDRs), as well as to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) with a request to stop the admission of GDRs to trading on the main market of the LSE starting from May 4, 2023.

On March 6, it became known that Lenta limited the number of goods when shopping in stores and online at a time, this rule applies to a number of categories of goods.

It is noted that the decision was made to reduce the risks of "artificial washing of goods from the shelves due to the purchase of large volumes of products in the store for further resale at inflated prices."
