The Swedish Championship Week in Luleå/Boden will be the northernmost Swedish Championship week to date. The event will take place between March 20-26 next year.
Most sports will be decided at Luleå Energi Arena, Ormberget and Pagla Ski Stadium, but competitions are also planned in Sunderbyn as well as individual competitions at Strajk Alley, Storklinten and at Boden Energi Arena.
– We are very happy that the interest has been so great among the sports to be involved in arranging their Swedish championships with us in Luleå and Boden, says Sandra Ottosson, local project manager for the Swedish Championship Week in Luleå / Boden.
The decision on which sports are offered to participate in the Swedish Championship Week is made by the Swedish Sports Confederation and Swedish Television together with the host city through a selection process where the special sports federations apply to become a sport at the Swedish Championship Week.
