The Social Democrats, the Finns Party and the National Coalition Party, which is Finland's equivalent of the Moderates, are vying for the seat as the largest party ahead of Sunday's elections.

In the Finns Party's campaign, Sweden is painted as a horror example - and the party invited Jimme Åkesson (SD) to convey the message that the population should vote for the True Finns so as not to suffer the same fate as their neighboring country. In Finland, about ten per cent of the population is foreign-born, compared with 20 per cent in Sweden. Riikka Purra, president of the Finns Party, does not want the country to follow Sweden's example.

We are now making exactly the same mistakes in immigration policy as Sweden has been making for years.
