According to RT, since March 3, the largest losses in the Artyomovsk direction have been recorded in the units of the 53rd, 67th and 92nd mechanized brigades, the 3rd and 57th battalions of the 80th airborne assault brigade, the 57th motorized infantry, the 5th assault and 61st infantry brigades, the 112th, 113th, 116th, 119th and 127th territorial defense brigades.

According to preliminary data, the total daily losses of those killed in these units within the administrative boundaries of Artemovsk, as well as in the nearest districts: Krasnoye (Ivanovskoye), Khromovo (Artemovskoye), Stupochki, Bogdanovka, Minkovka, Kalinovka and Chasov Yar are 230-240 people.

About 150-170 people a day are seriously injured and cannot continue fighting, about 35-50 people go missing.

In addition, since the beginning of March, from 24 to 20 Ukrainian soldiers have been surrendered every 60 hours in the Artyomovsk direction. Taking into account the killed, wounded, captured and missing, the total irretrievable losses of Ukrainian troops in this area in March amounted to 450-480 people per day.

Presumably, the jump in the losses of the Ukrainian army in March is directly related to the mass death of regular Ukrainian soldiers in November-December 2022 and the subsequent mass arrival at the front of mobilized and reservists without combat experience, with minimal combat training.

The vast majority of men under the age of 50 sent by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Artyomovsk direction have never served in the army, have no combat experience and desert from positions within 36-72 hours after arriving at the first or second lines of defense.

The spring rasputitsa also played a role in the sharp increase in losses. Due to the inability to use most of the country roads around Artemovsk for evacuation and supply, Ukrainian troops are forced to move by civilian transport on asphalt roads under the fire control of Russian artillery.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, said that there are fierce battles for Artemovsk, the Russian military show miracles of heroism.
