"It's been a bit difficult to build. You can't nail it, you have to glue and sometimes you have to start over," says Mohammed Hassan, a student at the school.
Johan Sandkvist, who is in the same class as Mohammed, continues:
"We build bigger things like Attefallshus here at the school. Building this small has been a real challenge," he says.
Birdhouse with veranda
– The "summer cottage" has both a patio, porch and a cute little mailbox. Let's hope there's some summer bird moving in there," says Chrstina Nord, a teacher at the school and responsible for the birdhouse construction.
She says they used to build a bee hotel.
"It's a bit simpler, but it's needed for bumblebees and bees.
At the beginning of April, the competition will be decided in Stockholm and then the "Nesting Box Builder of the Year 2023" will be chosen.
